Community Guidelines

Grid1x Community Guidelines: standards for reviews, listings, vendor responses, and marketplace conduct.

Last updated August 6, 2026.

Purpose

Grid1x is a marketplace for credible software research. These Community Guidelines explain what we expect from buyers, reviewers, and vendors so listings, reviews, and vendor responses remain useful and trustworthy.

These guidelines supplement our Terms of Service. We may update, moderate, or remove content that violates them.

Writing reviews

Reviews must reflect genuine experience with the product reviewed. Describe what you used, for how long, and in what context (team size, industry, or workflow) when it helps other buyers.

Do not post reviews for products you have not used, reviews written by vendors about competitors, or content copied from other sites.

Disclose material relationships when relevant. If you received compensation, a free trial extension, or other incentive tied to a review, say so clearly in the review body.

One review per person per product. Update your existing review instead of submitting duplicates.

Prohibited content

We remove or decline content that is false, misleading, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that contains personal information about non-public individuals.

Do not include spam, affiliate links, promotional codes, or calls to action unrelated to your product experience.

Do not attempt to manipulate Grid Score, review counts, or comparison rankings through coordinated campaigns, fake accounts, or quid-pro-quo review exchanges.

Vendor responses

Vendors may respond publicly to reviews on their listings. Responses should address the reviewer's experience professionally and must not include personal attacks or confidential customer data.

Vendors may not offer incentives in exchange for positive reviews or threaten reviewers. Review request campaigns must only contact people with a legitimate relationship to the product.

Listings and profiles

Listing information should accurately describe the product, pricing, and capabilities. Do not claim a profile for software you do not represent.

Screenshots, logos, and marketing assets must be owned or licensed by the vendor and must not infringe third-party rights.

Premium showcase content must not misrepresent integrations, certifications, or customer outcomes.

Enforcement

We moderate reviews and listings for policy violations. Content may be held for review, edited for formatting, or removed without prior notice.

Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension, loss of vendor portal access, or removal from category features.

To report abuse or appeal a moderation decision, email hello@grid1x.com with the product URL and a description of the issue.
